Weekend Review June 4, 5

The weekends at Escuela Caribe have been shortened by one day for the summer program, which officially began today.  Not to worry, in place of 1 free day a week, the students will have MANY opportunities for service projects, exploring the island, etc.

In a future blog, I will highlight more information about the summer program, but for now, let's review the most recent weekend.

Saturday Night Family Unity:

Lance house girls grilled steaks and watched the movie "Remember the Dogmen."

TKB boys played a game where they dressed up like someone on campus and put on a skit until the other house mates guessed the mystery person. They also played hide -n- go seek in the dark, and "vegged" out on banana peanut butter cake and snickerdoodles.

Sunday Afternoon:

Lance house played basketball and later in the evening played cards.

TKB boys had a Corn Hole tournament. (The Championship game is to be played tomorrow night between The Cofield's and Brian and Cody). They boys helped to make Mall Pretzels for a snack, followed by board games and chill time.
